Rustica Apple Tartlet With Pecans

Apple Tartlet


  • Cut circle out of pie dough.

  • Mix all ingredients above except for the butter and raw sugar.

  • Mound in the center of the pie round the apple pie filling mixture.

  • Pull dough up around, but not covering filling.

  • Dot with butter and sprinkle with sugar.

  • Bake at 350° until filling is hot and bubbly and crust is golden.

1 Box of refrigerated pie crust


1 Can of apple pie filling


1 tsp Cinnamon


1/2 tsp Nutmeg


1/4 cup Alaga Cane Syrup


1 Cup toasted and salted Tucker pecan pieces


1/2 stick butter

Raw Sugar (to sprinkle)
