Caramelized French Onion Soup

French Onion Soup

Instructions:

  • Sauté onion and garlic in butter until tender.

  • Add brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce and cook for about 6 minutes, stirring constantly.

  • Add broth, wine and cheese and reduce heat.

  • Let it simmer for about 15 minutes and enjoy with crusty French bread.

1 TB minced garlic

 

1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

 

1/4 cup brown sugar

 

2 cans beef broth

 

1/2 cup dry white wine

 

1/2 cup shaved parmesan cheese
