Bacon Wrapped Picked Asparagus & Conecuh Sausage (Courtesy Tif Smith)
1 lb. sliced long Conecuh sausage
(one piece into 1/4's)
Wright's Pickled Aspargus
1 lb. Smoked Bacon
1/4 c. Dark Alaga Syrup
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
Take a piece of the sausage and two asparagus and wrap the bacon slice around them and secure with toothpick. Continue this process until all asparagus are used.
Bake in oven until bacon is almost done and brush with Alaga Syrup.
Return to oven until it is nice and brown as the syrup will caramelize. Remove from oven, cool and enjoy.
