Apple Pear Cranberry Crumble (Courtesy Maggie Gibbs)



Filling: Place all ingredients in pan and saute' until soft.


Crumble Topping: Place all ingredients in mixing bowl and mix until crumbly.


Place fruit filling into baking dish, cover with topping and bake at 350° until golden brown. You can also add 1/2 cup of oats to the topping if desired.


Sprinkle cheese or pecans on top for something extra.

5 apples, chopped

5 pears, chopped

1 ½ C Dried cranberries

5 oz butter

1 ¼ C brown sugar

2 Tbsp Cinnamon

1 Tbsp ginger

1 tsp nutmeg

1 tsp salt

5 oz lemon juice


Crumble Topping:


2 1/4 cups All purpose flour

3/4 cup brown sugar

1/8 c granulated sugar

1/4 tsp cinnamon

pinch of salt

1/4 tsp ginger

6.5 oz butter

1/2 tsp vanilla extract
